Please bring your Eventbrite ticket purchase receipt with you to The Linen Building on August 15th to expedite your entrance.

BAKERS AND DESSERT CONNOISSEURS UNITE!

You are registering to contribute your cupcakes to an afternoon of cupcake madness! All proceeds from this event benefit TrICA – Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Arts

Our Goal: 2000 Cupcakes

If you’d simply like to donate cupcakes to CCC (and not register cupcakes for judging or sponsor CCC) please drop them off at The Linen Building on August 15th between 8:30-9:30 – thanks!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I REGISTER AS A CUPCAKE BAKER?

You agree to:

- Pay a $5 cupcake registration fee for each cupcake creation and or award category you enter.

- Bring at least twelve (12) cupcakes of your own creation to The Linen Building between 8:30 and 9:30am on August 15th (please see notes about cupcake storage).

- Attend the CupCakeCollective awards ceremony at 1:00pm on August 15th at The Linen Building.

- Carefully read CupCakeCollective Bakers Notes & Rules, and email us at cupcakecollective@gmail.com is you have ANY questions!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I REGISTER AS A CUPCAKE SPONSOR?

Your business or organization will:

- Pay a $50 tax deductable sponsorship fee.  Sponsorships help cover the cost of the CupCakeCollective event and marketing.  All proceeds left over from CCC will benefit TrICA, Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Art.

- Have the opportunity to contribute cupcakes branded with your logo or special design to CupCakeCollective!  This is a great way to advertise in an unconventional way!

- Your business logo or brand will be displayed on a sponsorship board for all CupCakeCollective attendees to see. @BoiseCupcake will “tweet” about your sponsorship on Twitter.

BAKERS NOTES & RULES ————————————————

Baker Guidelines & Notes

• A minimum of one dozen (12) cupcakes is required to enter as a baker.** Three of those cupcakes will be set aside for judging if registered in the Tasty category, and one set aside if registered as Visual or Youth. We encourage entrants to submit more than a dozen cupcakes. The more cupcakes we receive the closer we’ll be to our 2,000 cupcakes goal, and more people will be able to enjoy your cupcake creation!

• Your cupcakes will need to be delivered to The Linen Building on Saturday August 15th between 8:30 – 9:30am.  You’re welcome to stay with your cupcakes, or let us handle them.   You receive free admission to the event.

• Cupcakes should be your own creation although you may use any recipe.

• You may submit more than one type of cupcake; each type of cupcake you submit will need to be registered separately, and at least one dozen of each type will need to be made for the collective. (See above rules)

• Cupcakes are to be classic cupcake pan size or smaller (mini cupcakes are welcome, however we just don’t have the room for giant cupcakes).

• Cupcakes should be edible, with the exception of some decorative elements (we trust your common sense).

• Your cupcakes will be displayed by you. You have the option to create a themed display for your cupcakes. Keep size in mind, you’ll be sharing the space with other bakers. Displays should be no wider than 18x15” square, and no taller than 30”. You are welcome to refill your display as necessary; there will be space under the table your display is on to store extra cupcakes (so long as they are stored in your own container or cooler).  These are cupcakes that the public will be eating; we will provide a display sign for your name, title of cupcake, cupcake ingredients (encouraged for allergy warnings) – etc.  The cupcake sample for judging will be assigned a number.

•  Businesses may not advertise or display logo’s or names unless registered as a Cupcake Collective sponsor. If you are a baker who works for or owns a business that is not registered to sponsor, your cupcakes must be displayed under your personal name.  Sponsorships are $50, and can be made through our website.

•  Cupcakes will not be refrigerated. You’re welcome to submit cupcakes made with any ingredient, keeping in mind that it is August, and some things tend melt and even spoil when not kept cool. As stated above, you’re welcome to keep your extra cupcakes in a cooler, and refill your display as necessary.

• The YOUTH category is limited to cupcake bakers who are 16 years old or younger. Adult supervision is recommended, creativity and construction should be that of the YOUTH baker.

**If your child was part of TrICA’s “Cupcake Camp” they may submit the cupcakes they made during class.

SPONSOR NOTES & RULES ————————————————

• Cupcakes are optional! We appreciate your sponsorship and understand that you may not have the time or ability to make cupcakes this year.

• If your business or organization choses to contribute cupcakes, there is a two dozen minimum (24 cupcakes). Your business or organization is responsible for the creation and delivery of your branded cupcakes. Feel free to make these yourself, or have someone else bake them.

A few bakeries that are willing to help:

- Eat Cake, ask for Erin or Karen 208.378.7716   www.eatcakeboise.com

- Flying M Coffeehouse, ask for Lisa  208.345.4350  www.flyingmcoffee.com

• Cupcakes should include your business or organization’s logo or brand of some type. This can simply be done by icing your name or adding a business card or other item to the top of the cupcake. We encourage you to get creative! The more appealing your cupcake is, the more appealing your business will seem to the attendees of the CupCakeCollective.

• Cupcakes should be edible, with the exception of some decorative elements (we trust your common sense!)

• Email a jpg file of your logo to: cupcakecollective@gmail.com for our sponsorship lists and boards.

• Let us if you have ANY questions! cupcakecollective@gmail.com
